I really enjoyed the discussion on the redemption of the archons, I’ve always agreed with the Valentinians that we’re here as part of a rescue mission. I know Bishop Hoeller’s written about Abraxas being a redeemed archon but he never sources that…does anyone know about a tradition of Abraxas being a redeemed archon?
As I’d hoped, this assuaged my concerns over the treatment of government-as-archon in the first round. And gives me lots to think about besides!
